New Website and Presentation of Photography Services

It was about time for a website update! I have been working on this behind the scenes for quite a while now and so happy that all the hours I put in have paid off because I just love the result!

As always, I love to hear what you think, so if there’s something you’d like to see on my website or my blog, don’t hesitate to let me know 💌!

As with any new start, a good introduction is required. So let me introduce myself and fill you in on all the different photography services I am offering at the moment.

About me

Hi there, hello! I’m Lavinia, the person behind Instantaneart (yup, it’s just me over here doing it all 💪). I have been taking beautiful pictures professionally since 2020, but have been snapping as a hobby for many years before that.

Instantaneart started as a project focusing on outdoor photography only, but then expanded when I added a studio. I have a lot of versatility and I’m always happy to help you take home more than just a selfie!

I wanted to take this opportunity to do a quick run-through of all my services, so let’s jump right in. I’ll update this article with links to different shoots that you can use as inspiration for planning your own photo session, so bookmark this blog post, folks! 

Vacations, Proposals, Elopements, Bachelorette Parties

For those visiting Madrid I am offering:

  • Vacation photography – natural and candid shots of you (and your loved ones) on vacation in Madrid. I shoot at some of the most emblematic spots of this Unesco World Heritage city, like the Retiro Park, The Royal Palace or Gran Via to name just a few. If you’d like to see some examples, here is an autumn shoot I did for a solo traveller or a family shoot.
  • Proposals – In case you’re contemplating surprising your sweetheart with a proposal, count me in to capture that magical event! This is definitely one of the moments in life that are such a milestone, but don’t get recorded properly, so people end up with a bunch of blurry photos on their phones or (not sure which is worse) selfies.
  • Elopements – Aaaaah, the smell of love is on all the streets in Madrid. And during all seasons, but especially in spring (and spring starts early here – how lucky!). Recording an elopement is such a beautiful experience for me as a photographer, I always get caught up in the magic of the moment and it’s exactly that magic which I strive to capture in my photos 💘.
  • Bachelorette parties. Did someone say party 🥳?! Well, I am definitely in! We all know “girls just wanna have fun”. And this is definitely one of the most fun shoots for me while I capture the bride to be and her closest friends 💃! These galleries are always so joyful, full of life and friendship, that I always literally hear the laughter of all the pretty ladies each time I go through the photos!

Families and Kids

No doubt about the fact that time flies ⏳. But with kids, you have the living proof of that right in front if your eyes every. single. day.

I portray kids and families candidly both in and out of the studio so that they have a memory of what the family is at a specific moment in time or for a specific event (birthday, new child arriving, Christmas etc.). The types of shoots I do are:

  • Family sessions – candid shoot where the focus is on connection. This is what I always want to portray. My aim is not to deliver portraits, it’s to catch the connection between the family members 👪. Minimum posing and maximum realness 🤌.
  • Pet photo sessions – a pet is a part of the family, that’s for sure. And they are more than welcome on an outdoor family shoot or as the main characters of the show during their own outdoor shoot 🐕🐩🐕‍🦺.
  • New-born 👶 – being able to take the first photos of someone is such a gift. These are some of the most special and emotional moments a photographer can capture – the arrival of a new human in this world! A lot of patience, care and meticulousness go into each and every shot of the little one, I wouldn’t have it any other way!
  • Christmas minis 🎄 – studio or outdoor shoot. More info on each year’s campaign usually in September.
  • Communions 💫 – studio or outdoor shoot. More info on each year’s campaign usually in March.

Personal branding, headshots, content creation

Photography for professionals is another area I adore. Having worked in the corporate field for 8 years, I am a huge advocate of presenting oneself online or in person in a way that is coherent with their background, role, goals, or workplace and is true to the individual. I can help you with presenting yourself professionally through:

  • Headshot photography – it’s about time to change that bathroom selfie 🤳 you have as a LinkedIn profile photo.
  • Personal branding session – you and me develop this session together, from scratch, so it’s 100% customised and 100% you 📸. This shoot can be in the studio or on location.
  • Content creation 📱 – throw any ideas at me and I’ll do my best to find a way to get them done and create social media content for you or your business.

I absolutely love the dynamics of family photo sessions. I love capturing the dynamic between people with such a strong bond. I love how this bond peaks through, in how the family sits together, walks together but most of all, I love how this bond peaks through in the in the moments in between poses, after a quick comment, or a joke, or a tease. So I always try to keep my eyes peeled, and if I am lucky enough to capture a few of these, then I go home a happy photographer :)…

Autumn Retiro Shoot

One of the reasons why I love autumn is the light. Sunset light in autumn is different than other seasons. It’s strong and warm and almost heavy. And when it shines through those rusty leaves – oh, man!
