About Me

Hi, I’m Lavinia and I am passionate about all things beautiful. I absolutely love working with people and connecting through photography.

I believe everyone is photogenic. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been told by clients that they are not photogenic, only to hold their hand through the session, making them feel comfortable and giving them tips. As a result, I witness how they completely change their perspective by the end of the shoot. By then, they feel more confident in themselves and confess they loved the experience, they love the photos and would do it all again the next day!

I have been taking photos since high-school and have been doing it professionally for 4 years. I am mostly self-taught, but so passionate about photography that have turned a hobby into a full-time job!

I get super excited about each new photo shoot and look forward to taking you through the experience of planning, shooting and receiving the photos of your dreams!

Autumn Retiro Shoot

One of the reasons why I love autumn is the light. Sunset light in autumn is different than other seasons. It’s strong and warm and almost heavy. And when it shines through those rusty leaves – oh, man!

Family Photo Session from Retiro to Gran Vía

I absolutely love the dynamics of family photo sessions. I love capturing the dynamic between people with such a strong bond. I love how this bond peaks through, in how the family sits together, walks together but most of all, I love how this bond peaks through in the in the moments in between poses, after a quick comment, or a joke, or a tease. So I always try to keep my eyes peeled, and if I am lucky enough to capture a few of these, then I go home a happy photographer :)…
